I'm about to install my new short block and was wondering if anyone knows how to torque down the PTO coupler? I installed my exhaust manifold already so I can't do it the Rag method is there any other way to hold the flywheel?

Rope down the cyl works too.. Just put in about 6 inches of rope and spin the cyl, it will lock up.

Get the PTO nice and snug, no need to over-torque it. The PTO will tighten itself as soon as there is load on the pump and motor.
