  • Flush Kit Quick Connect

We have two Hondas (F12 / R12X) and bought two quick connects for flushing from the dealer when we bought the skis. Each kit is two pieces one that attches to the ski the other to the hose with the "quick connect" in the middle. The piece that attaches to the ski we put on the day we bought the skis and left them on with no problems. I dropped the skis off for winterization and one of the salesmen saw them and told me that the piece that attaches to the ski can not be left on while riding or it will interfere with the cooling system. Does not make sense to me.
we have had no problems with about 60 hours on each ski. The connection is only used for flushing and would defeat the purpose of a "quick connect". Is he on crack? Or does he have a valid point?

    Re: Flush Kit Quick Connect

As long as the part what stays on the ski is open, it will be fine, if it is closed if the the other part of the connector is not connected it is wrong.

So it should be an open connector at all times.
