Thumbs up 96 GTX Cavation ploblem

I was just wondering if anyone has any other ideas for a cavtion problem,
I just got a 96 gtx from a friend and it has a cavation problem when you punch it from a dead stop, it picks up to full speed about 56 mph, i have pulled a pump out of my other ski and it still does the same thing, pulled the motor to check the PTO it was fine also and shaft. the only other thing that i have found was a hair line cack around where the plastic insert comes thru the hull but i have the same on other skis???

    Anybody have any ideas........

Your ski is sucking air from someplace.. I would check the carbon seal / carrier bearing setup.
