Hell, This is my first post
I am in the process of doing a rebuild, and I am having some issues.
First off I aquired this ski knowing it had a bad piston, and planned on repairing. The #2 piston was blown.

1, Took cylinder block machine shop for boring, this was my first mistake, machinist took all three cylinders to .080" or 2mm oversize, instead of giving me the option to sleeve #2 and leave 1 and 3 at .020" over. So now I am looking at wiseco pistons at .080" o/s, is that a good idea?

2, The crank, I split the case removed the crank, and washed the rod and main bearings very well with min spirits and compressed air, re oiled them and they seem good. Can this crank be reused ? Have heard several different opinons on what condition the bearings are in after a piston failure, would like to hear more.

3, The head, it took a little beating when #2 took a #2, I have found a used to buy if I continue with the rebuild, but if I dont will SBT take the pited one as a core? Also, will they take the .080" o/s block as a core.

    Any advice will be appreciated.
