Says he had to put new power valve in. Will water test in a little while. could that have been the issue the whole time? What should the powervalve cost me? It was 380 for a carb job Im now not sure I even needed or got. Stinks dealng with guys you dont know. New shop 20 miles close than olld one. I guess If he trats me right on the back end Ill be ok but he should have water tested it to start with. 10 minute put in. Really appreciate all the time Dan Thanks

NEW Rave valve?? Eh.. Did he give you back the old parts like he's supposed to?

The most those will ever need is a cleaning and a replacement of the o-rings and internal bellow.

dint show for the water test , but had some thunder storms (benfit of the the doubt). will see what the morning brings.

Ok new bellow gave a torn one. No joy. pulled carbs again and rear carb would not pop off leak but to release. Ran some errands and when I came back ski back together. ran real strong out of water. Tried backing it down running and starting now idels fine but still not transitioning 3500 wide open and really boggy pulll it up while running jumps right back up. Asked about low speed screw said it wouldnt make a difference will try my self.

New revalation took to ramp starting trouble again after adjusting screw. started messing with on turning back and forth and kind of half between off and on ski jumps upto 7k. Take it out on water runs at 7k but onlt 30MPH wide open. Bad valve lines?

If it runs 7k but only 30, then it's something in the pump...

Wait.. What's the RPM in the water... Still 3500?

No have it up 7k now but only after I twist the on off back and forth.

Yes fuel selector. Just take the 3 lines of and put it through parts cleaner?

Ok cleaned slector ski runs up now 7k but still 30 MPH. Wear ring or some other pump problem?

Yup.. wear ring, impeller or stripped driveshaft splines.

Will the wear ring cross reference to another year/model? unable to find in stock local.

Any 140mm pump wear ring will work.. That cross references to a lot of ski's..

Ok got one and its in. Of course now battery is low from days worth of cranking. Have it on the charger. So we have rebuilt carbs (torn down twice), New bellow in rave, cleaned lines and fuel selector and put in a new wear ring. When it comes off the charger if it doesnt run watch for Utube posting. It will be spectacular being pushed off the highest cable bridge in north america.

How did the old ring look? How did the impeller look.. Was the pump oil milky?
