  • Exhaust warning comes on !!

I just COMPLETLY rebuilt a 1999 XL1200LTD that i bought for cheap. I'M NEW to jet skiing... the ski starts up and runs great,,, after about 15 min the warning arrives... I know it already has the D-Plate on it but is there a improper way to install it..( with the block off side of the D-plate towards the cencor or the open side towards??) ski only get to 113 degress and goes no higher....

Also when i flush it i've notice no water coming out of the two front holes in the ski,,, it has all new gaskets and i took a power washer to all openings prior to putting back together, so no clogging ,,, I have water at the top of the exhaust manifold cause i removed one rubber tude just to make shure !!!

ANY AND ALL HELP ON HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE OR WHAT ELSE IT MAY BE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECATIED !!!
