Polaris 1996 SLT 780

Red lite on multi-functional gauge on and message reads LOW FUEL. Gas gauge on left hand side reads low even though fuel tank is full. Engine runs on half power and every once in a while engine will take off and run at full power like normal when gas gauge on multi-functional display goes up ever so slightly. Frustrated in Wisconsin. Thanks, Bob

Replace the fuel sending unit, the ski is going into limp mode, it thinks its running out of fuel.
