I have a 2005 ultra 150, bought in 2006 from dealer with only 10 hrs. put about another 8-9 on it with no problems. after not using it for 10 mos. I went to start it and got a rumbling/grinding sound, plus felt it around the area where the driveshaft bearing is. I guess maybe some water got in there last timeit was used, and setting up made the bearing corrode. how do you go about replacing the bearing, eg. the best way to remove the shaft so I can get to the bearing? any pictures or instructions would be great! This is my 2nd kawasaki, the first one was a 650 tandem sport that was indestructable! never had to replace a bearing on a kawasaki, but I have on my sea-doo spx before. Also, I am new to this forum, this is my first post!
Thanks for the help, I love that ultra 150. (can't understand why the bearing went out so soon!)
