i have a 1997 polaris slt780 been sitting since 2001 compression is 145. i got sbt carb kits and put them in and took it out wouldnt idle right at first, i adjusted the idle and it idles fine now. Throttle response is good. But from idle to around 4000 its only running on 2 cylinders #1 & 2 but from 4500-5000 up its running on all 3 and runs great! At 6200 it will drop a 100 rpms and pick right back up. When i idle to the dock and pull the sparkplugs the #2 plug is soaked and i put new plugs in and have plenty of spark and its still soaked. Any ideas? a friend said it was a carb problem? pop off pressure? got any ideas??

Check pop-off pressure, you could have the wrong spring in the carb and your flooding it out in the low speed circuit.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
