Impulse hose?

Impulse hose?

I started rebuilding my 93 Tigershark motor 2 years ago and now am just getting to finish the job. The manual says to reconnect the "Impulse hose" (or tube) that starts at the port on the block above the right side of the intake mounting. Question is: Where does the other end of the hose connect?

Connects to the fuel pump.
