  • Honest repair shops in Tampa?

Does anyone know of any good honest repair shops in the Tampa area. It is costing me $700 to trouble shoot, clean carbs, replace a fuel line, and rotary valve cover. does this seem right? Almost all that is labor except the 150 for the new cover.

    Thanks

I would reccomend Jet Trendz in New Port Richey for the very best service available.

$700 seems very steep for that work. I would expect to pay around $350 for all that with the new cover, assuming the carbs are in good condition and just need a standard rebuild.

actually the carbs didn't need to be rebuilt, they were just done. But the jet ski hadn't run right since so I thought my buddy did it wrong. I went and spoke to the shop personally yesterday and he said they were put together properly. The only thing they found was water in the the carbs, a somewhat collapsed fuel line, and a cracked rotary valve cover where someone hat tapped out a broken bolt previously.

Thanks for the info and quick response.
