Default Cylinder Water Jacket Salt Deposits

I am rebuilding the top-end of my 2001 Yamaha Waverunner 1200 XLT and I have the cylinders off but the water jackets have a significant amount of salt deposits in them. Does anyone know how to remove the salt deposits easily without damaging the cylinder? Thanks

Glass beading works the best, just don't shoot it into the cylinders
