  • Sea-Doo Start/Stop switch cover replacement - how to install....

    Hello,
    I recently purchased two of the Sea-Doo start/stop switch red rubber covers.

    How do I replace them?

    Can the switch itself be serviced/cleaned out?

    I can't find any instructions on the site or in the forum.

    to replace the old red button just work the old crud out of the grove with a small straight blade screwdriver and then carefully work the new button into the grove.

      Do I need to take the switch cover off the handle bar or do this from the front (where you press the button)?

        nope just work it out as it sits on the handle bar, much more simple then you are expecting.

          You are correct....I was making this into a job, but it is the easiest thing I have done to the ski so far. I don't know if it could be any easier.

          The old cover just pulled out and I was able to just slide the new one into place, from the outside. I didn't have to take anything apart. WOW!

          Thank you for your help. Without it, I would have taken the thing apart to put this in place :)
