  • Engine Mount & Alignment

Bill and Tech what are your thoughts on the Below.

I just got my engine mounts yesterday. I went to my local Sea-doo/performance parts dealer and he had both OEM and Goki. They use OEM(by default and love them), but several of the racehead techs said if you have the money get Goki. So I did.

Most of the orginal under engine mount shims are pratically destroyed by corrosion. So they can't be used.

Could I mount the new engine mounts to the hull without the under engine mount shims?
And just use the shims that go under the engine support bracket and on top of the rubber engine mount for alignment purposes?

On the bolts use blue loctite 242, right?

    Thank You

Yes use blue loctite. Goki tend to be a little more firm than the OEM mounts, I've used both and really can't tell a difference.

I think you need at least one under-mount shim, I thought they helped to distribute the mount pressure to the hull.
