  • New Blacktip Mats on my 1999 Polaris SLTX

Just finished my Blacktip Mat install, hardest part was waiting for them to flatten out to put them on. Total install time was roughly 10 minutes. Pads were coming up all over, fixed them once before with super glue....horrible decision as it was by far the hardest to get off. Used goo gone extreme for all the remains, let it sit for a while then used a plastic putty knife. Only complaint is I got instructions for putting on a seat cover instead of the pads, hope they didn't require any sanding on the gel coat before install.

Sorry about the instructions. It is not necessary to sand the gel coat, as long as the surface is clean the mats will stick. That is one of the cleanest 99's I have ever seen. Looks great.
