I have read the forum FAQ and the owners manual on winterization but still have some questions.
I own a 98 GTX LTD and I am worried about a cracked block from the cold. It gets VERY cold in MN.
I disconnected the water inlet at the T along the ride side of the ski. The line then connects to the head on the side, about the middle. I used a compressor and blew through that line, and water came out from the back, from the intake grate?
Anyway, I then poured RV Marine antifreeze through that line and blew through it again. The antifreeze came out similar to the water.
QUESTION: Is that all I should be doing to prevent block damage? Is it that simple? Install antifreeze anywhere else?
Thanks for your help! Great web site.
