  • Black Tip Traction Mats

Hello from brandon florida, just recently bought new black tip mats from JC repair, Kings Ave. Brandon,Fla. Doing business with SBT -via - JC repair is a plus for me, buying stuff on the way home from work is a big convenience. I found by using a real sharp wood chisel, it cuts the heads off of the aluminum rivits real easy from the stock traction mats. Then, i sprayed down, (was pretty dirty under old mats) with some grease lightning multi-purpose cleaner, then scrubbed with a brush, rinsed off, counter-sunk old rivits with a 1/8 " center punch, wiped off, mixed up some 2 part epoxy, applied to all of the old rivit holes. I used some epoxy that dries in 10 minutes. Then, i took some more cleaner with a "majic eraser" and scrubbed real clean, rinsed, wiped dry, and right before i applied new mats down, wiped off with a lint free rag and rubbing alchohol. These mats, "fit like a glove" real satisfied with product.... whata u think ?????

well, cant post a pic, dont know why
