1995 polaris slt750
Help. Bought a 1995 polaris slt750. Looks good but wont run. Got a hole in #3 piston. Engine is out and bought a reman. engine and mikuni HP 2 outlet fuel pump from spt. I have some questions about the fuel pump. #1 I think they should have sold me a three outlet pump and I have ocean pro vortex flame arrestors. Not sure where to mount the fuel pump. #2 Can engine be installed with the carbs. attached. I'm sure i will need more help, but i am having a ball restoring this ski and if it runs as good as it looks maybe I can get my darling wife off my *** for buying " a piece of junk". Thanks for your help help in advance.

The best way to prevent killing the # 3 cylinder again is to install a set of carbs off a 780 polaris, they work much better. The fuel pump used on the 780 and carbs are set up different search on line see if you can track down a set. The extra SBT pump you have is only meant to supply fuel to the front carb, the center and rear get fuel from the stock weak pump.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
