Help. Bought a 1995 polaris slt750. Looks good but wont run. Got a hole in #3 piston. Engine is out and bought a reman. engine and mikuni HP 2 outlet fuel pump from spt. I have some questions about the fuel pump. #1 I think they should have sold me a three outlet pump and I have ocean pro vortex flame arrestors. Not sure where to mount the fuel pump. #2 Can engine be installed with the carbs. attached. I'm sure i will need more help, but i am having a ball restoring this ski and if it runs as good as it looks maybe I can get my darling wife off my *** for buying " a piece of junk". Thanks for your help help in advance.

The best way to prevent killing the # 3 cylinder again is to install a set of carbs off a 780 polaris, they work much better. The fuel pump used on the 780 and carbs are set up different search on line see if you can track down a set. The extra SBT pump you have is only meant to supply fuel to the front carb, the center and rear get fuel from the stock weak pump.
