we would need to know what EC78PWE # the engine is for correct settings, look on the water rail for this, it runs along the 3 cylinder heads and is on a sticker.

Sorry I wrote the wrong date, it's a 1997, I've got a set of carbs from a 96 that I'm trying to get setup to replace the current ones on a 1997 slt 780... what sizes do I need for a 97
They would work but in 96 the engine could have had 2 different sets of carbs, tell me what size main jets are in them and I can figure out what the settings would be.

Sorry- just to verify, I can use the 1996 carbs with their same jets on the 97 motor? Just adjust the low speed and high speed screw to the appropriate settings?
So are the 96 carbs ok to run with their stock jets ( 107.5 and 72.5) on a 97 with the above settings? I haven't been able to get jets locally for today
