  • 1999 ts 770 r carb problems

hi i am new to this forum but i have done alot of reading on it.I have a 99 ts770r that the carbs are dripping on inside.I checked pop-off pressure and both carbs were at 12-13 pounds,so i rebuilt the carbs with mikuni kits and new needles and seats.I reset the pop-off to 16 pounds, but carbs still drip at an idle, and one still drips even while not running,i made sure lever arms are level with carb body.I am ordering different springs to try to raise the pop-off to keep the carbs from dripping.I also ordered another set of needle and seats to try that also.I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and also wondering how much you can raise the pop-off pressure from stock without affecting much.

16 is what it calls for. Make sure the gasket surfaces are nice and clean.
