Wrong springs for pop-off, too weak or fuel tank is holding too much psi, the pressure vale is not working, and it should let pressure out at 1.5 psi

Ski had been running fine. I had left the fuel selector in the "on" position and lifted the nose of the trailer in order for rain water to drain. I'm thinking that gravity forced the fuel thru the fuel pump and carbs and fuel "seeped" in thru the reeds and filled the crankcase. Sound possible? I removed the carbs and reeds and vac'd out the fuel from the crankcase. Put it all back together and it started right up. I remembered to put the fuel selector in the off position this time, but afraid to to lift the nose of the trailer now ;-p

If the fuel is turned off you should'nt have any issues tilting it up for storage.

You may also have damaged the reed trying to start it with the case filled with fuel, this will also cause the bogging issue and low rpms.
