  • 2000 Polaris 1200 slx backfiring through exhaust, no faster thab 45 mph, bad idle

Hello, need some help here. I have a 2000 1200 slx with idling, backfiring and acceleration issues. Compression on all 3 is 135. Battery at starting is 10.9, replaced stator, coil, wires and plugs. Opened up carbs, replaced with sbt kits and used original springs. Drained tanked and removed....put fresh gas in. Could this be an electrical cdi issue. When started it has a slight backfire through exhaust and idles rough. Hold down throttle and backfiring is gone but doesnt seem to have that wide open throttle sound. Feedback appreciated. THanks

1st thing that comes to mind is broken flywheel key and timing is slightly off.
