    96 slt 780

    Wants to bog off bottom end and wont open up. Only gets to 5000 rpm. I adjusted carbs to factory setting. Checked fuel lines. What could it been. Acts like it has a rev limiter. Just wont open up. Help please

    Did you rebuild the carbs? The rev-limiter will keep you at lower than 5k in rpms so I don't think its that.

      I took them all apart and cleaned them. Ive got it to open up once then it went back to running the same way. Will run to 5090 rpm and no more. Misses real bad.
