    Drive spindle

    I have a 1996 Polaris SLT 780. I pulled out the Drive spindle to check, had a little vibration, and when I tried to reinstall I couldn't get it back about the last six inches. Pulled it back out and found what looked like an o-ring but was wire wound. Any ideas?? Tried posting a picture but unable to
    get it uploaded. Thanks

    It may have been the rear crank seal outer spring.

      here is the spring cannot find anything in my shop manual that looks like it

        Your picture didn't come through but you would only see the spring on the rear seal, its not a separate item.
