I recently purchased a 2000 Yamaha xl1200 limited ski. The engine needs to be replaced due to blown piston. Question is.....is this engine a power valve or non power valve? How can I tell.....

should be a power valve motor,the easiest way to tell if it has 3 separate cylinders then its a power valve motorSBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
