90Kaw 550 stand up ski

I am working on a 90 kaw 550 stand up ski for a friend that just bought so I have the high and low speed setting chart from you guys so I was wondering if it was for the stand up ski ? I rebuild the carb but never mess with the high an low speed screw. It start and runs good in water but won't open up so I never done a stand up ski so is there a popoff I need to check also ? or am I missing something
