Son was out riding with friends and heard a pop, entire ski shut down. Had
to be towed home. Couldn't get it to restart, no power to the ski.
Pulled plugs and have a hole on top of #2 cylinder. In process of removing
engine and tear down. Son refueled ski, not sure he put right ratio oil with
gas. (removed oil pump and went to pre-mix). Engine was rebuilt in 2008 by
previous owner, total tear down and rebuild by professionals . I know the top
end will need to be rebuilt, how can I evaluate the bottom end or should I just
consider a total rebuild? Thanks in advance.
