Which SBT carb kit is the correct one to use when rebuilding the carbs on my 98 Kawasaki 1100 STX? Is there also a kit available to rebuild the fuel pump? If so, what is the SBT part number for that kit?

The SBT 35-211 fits that ski/carb. It is a Keihin CDKCV carb.

The Fuel Pump diaphragm and gasket is not available.
Just order a new pump.

Does the pop off pressure have to be check on the CDKCV carb like many of the others? I could not find any rebuilding instructions on line.

I still have a running issue with the ski. The machine will run correctly for a minute or two, then it starts to bog down. If I reduce the RPM for a minute or two, it will then reach full RPM but only for a short period of time. Here is what I have done so far. Drained and cleaned the fuel tank. Removed and cleaned the fuel pickup tubes. Replaced the fuel supply line. Checked and cleaned the fuel filter. New gas and oil mix. Removed the pulse line from the engine and carb set. Vacuum tested the pulse line to ensure that the line is good. Not sure if it would effect the way the machine runs, but I do have a primer pump on the machine. It has been on the machine for three years. Primer is plumbed into the return line not the supply. What am I missing? Fuel Pump? Any thoughts would be helpful.

Also I was told by a ski mechanic here in Maryland that the CV carbs on the Kawasaki STX 1100 rarely need to be rebuilt. Not sure if that information is accurate.

Fuel pumps are a common problem on those type of carbs.
