Supercharger rebuild kit
Hello to all,
my question is for the SBt technical team in regards to the supercharger rebuild kit I purchased from Sbt for my 2004 RXP 215 factory motor.
We put the kit on & rebuilt the supercharger exactly as your instructions said to do so. Everything was okay until we tested for slippage with the torque test. It says in my kit it's supposed to break loose between 80-120 or 110. Ours broke loose at 80 my question is why 80? If it's new & we did everything correctly (which we did) then Why is it not breaking loose at the higher number/range e.g 100?
The other question is: is there anything we can do at this point to make it break at a higher point e.g. 100? i have heard of rearranging the washers but was not sure what the person meant who said that. Please advise thanks for your help in advance.
