1993 YAMAHA VXR 650 CARB settings

Just wondering on the correct way to set the carb for a 93 YAMAHA 650 VXR. I did find the guide on the SBT website. But looking at it it's showing 1 1/8 +/- 1/4 for the low and then for the high it's the same for the high except it has a - symbol in front of the setting. Can someone verify if this is just -1 1/8 +/- 1/4 or is it just the same as the low? Also just to be sure when setting the low and high I am to screw the needle all the way in until it lightly seats. Then back the screw out according to the guide correct?

Yes it means 1 and 1/8 turns on each of the screws.
And, yes lightly seat and back out that number of turns.
