Kids snapped the armature in the starter. Replaced it and ski started but cavitated real bad. Replaced the wear ring and checked drive shaft. Everything looked ok but now I have all reasembled and when I try to start it, it seems like the shaft might be bent because it is binding and not turning over. I could manually spin the prop before reassembly. I'm thinking driveshaft or pump shaft is bent? Any suggestions? Thx

pull the driveshaft out and check for a bend.

I did pull it out and roll it on a level surface and didn't notice it warped or bent. Is there another way to check without a feeler gauge or similar tools.
