The oil has correct instructions. Perhaps you followed the instruction for a pre-mix ski insted of an injected ski.

No need to clean the carbs, the oil doesn't hurt anything.

Thanks again guys.......took it out again, it started right up in the water and took the gas(must of sucked a wad of oil up that was sitting on the bottom). Gonna burn the rest of this tank and replace the plugs and i should be good to go.

Also, thanks for not poking fun at me....LOL

Someone posted that oil sludge out the exhaust when running on land indicates a carb problem. What type of carb problem does this indicate?
                Thanks!

I've posted before stating that I thought the instructions on the break-in oil were incorrect. Not the oil ratio's, but the method of mixing. It seemed to me that it was instructing one to fill tank with fuel, then mix in the proper amount of oil. I knew better than to do this myself, but thought it warranted looking in to. What was your conclusion, tech?

SO YOURE SAYING THE OIL SHOULD BE PREMIXED IN A CONTAINER PRIOR TO PUTTING IT IN THE SKI. WHAT IS NORMAL OPERATING CYLINDER HEAD TEMP?

Yes, I'm saying the correct way to do it is to mix the fuel and oil in a seperate container and mix it well prior to dumping it into the ski's fuel tank. However, in my opinion, the break-in oil container states otherwise.
