  • Fouling problem with 96 GSX

I have a 96 GSX that had a factory pipe, aftermarket intake and the carb rejetted when I bought it. I am not sure what jets were used but it keeps fouling the plugs. Not so bad that it will not start but it loses power and runs sluggish. New plugs turn black after a couple hours of riding. I assume I need to lean it out a little but I am not sure what to change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Well,
First try to adjust the low speed needles in a little to lean the bottom end down. Go in until it starts to hesitate, then back out until you get rid of the hesitation. If it is still rich, adjust the high speed needles in a bit until it quits fouling plugs.
