Xl700 rebuilt carbs now revs high on start up

Hi hope I can get some advice. Just had carbs rebuilt and sent back after ski would only idle or run at part choke. Put back together now it starts and revs very high. What have I missed?

Sounds like you have an air leak. Maybe a carb. base gasket is leaking.

just to update was air leak new gasket and away it went! cheers
