Hi I am trying to see if I bought the right rotary valve for my 97 Gsi 717cc.THe sbt part number is 420924502. When I compare the new one to my original, they are same diameter but there is more metal surface on the new one.The old one has more of a cut-out. For some reason I can't post photos right now. If I figure that out I will add one.

420924502 is SBT 45-101-01A which is a 159 degree valve and that is correct for the 717 engine.Comment

The package says "132 Degree Wheel" with that Part Number(420924502)Comment

The 1997 Parts microfiche calls out the following.
21 290924504 ROTARY VALVE (132°)
But the Sea-Doo specification manual calls out a 159 degree valve.
From what I have seen all 717/720 engines use 159 degree valves.
