I have a 2012 that I just bought and the fuel pump was putting out 2 psi. I replaced the fuel pump and it pressure tested
fine at 60 psi. I connected it to a water hose, started the motor and then turned on the water
in that sequence. I ran it for a couple minutes turned of the water and stopped
the motor in that sequence. Thinking I was good I went to the lake. Had to try a couple times to get the motor started.
tried running it around the lake and could only reach 16 mph. After five minutes I left and went home.
Next day I pulled the plugs and disconnected the gas supply line from the fuel pump.
i wanted to see it the fuel pump died again. When I was turning the motor over
water was blowing out all three spark plug holes. I have been draining and refilling
the oil several times to get the water out. How could water get in the oil?
coolant reservoir level has never changed. Also is there a better way to get the water out of the motor?
