  • 94 seadoo xp R.V. question.

previous owner removed oil pump. If I leave oil lines and oil in tank ? Is that oil bath enough to lube rv and crank. reading old threads about ski that cranks but wont fire? I have to retest compression 120 pto side. 145 mag side.thinking worn R.V. how do I find out? Can I see it if I pull off intake manifold? question I read timing is correct if R.V. hole is always over mag side cylinder? please respond? thank you.

Oil bath is enough to lube the rotary valve shaft.

      120/145 suggest a piston/ring/cylinder wall problem.

measure clearance of rotary valve with long feeler gauge through intake port. Max of .014"

This is what typical rotary valve should look like when timed correctly.
