Is there a procedure to test temp probe and pisser water? I think problem is not enough water to cool my water box like the garden hose does. STS runs good. But gets too hot! thanks.

Place sensor in pan of water. Sensor cannot touch sides of pan. Put leads from VOM on leads from sensor to measure continuity. Heat water. As temp rises switch changes from open to closed at 203F degrees and as it cools it opens at 190F degrees.
