I have recently acquired a 2002 Xp from a friend and it Boggs when accelerating out of the hole. The previous owner put a new motor in it including new power valves due to someone rolling it over the wrong way in the water and tried to start it without clearing the water which of corse damaged the motor however it has not ran correctly since. I have cleaned and rebuilt the carbs (fun job) and still no difference. It will run just fine on land with a hose hooked to it but as soon as you put in the water it won’t accelerate out of the hole. If you play with and feather the throttle you can get it to hit but it’s sparatic once you get the rpms up it seams to run fine but as soon as you slow again it just Boggs out it seems even worse if you have two people on but that may just be my imagination any ideas would be appreciated.
