Let me rephrase the question. I purchased a 2001 Seadoo Rx D.I. yesterday. ITS MISSING THE ENGINE AND JET PUMP. I have found a 2001 951 that needs a rebuild. This ski is a carborated gtx. ??? Is there any difference between the two ???

I Understand there is a Difference. Is it because of the R.A.V.E. system. Could you explain what the difference is?

        Some of the differences:
951 white in color is a carb. engine. 43 tooth counter balance shaft.
951 silver in color is a carb. engine. 43 tooth counter balance shaft.
951 DI 6 transfer port ion cylinders. 34 tooth counter balance shaft.
951 DI 5 transfer ports in cylinders. 34 tooth counter balance shaft.
        Crankcases have differences.
Cylinder heads are different to accommodate air injectors.
