I have a See Doo 1991 XP with a new carburator. It started nicely on the hanger, but when i got it in the water it did not start.
I saw a SBT video on Youtube describing skratches on the rotary valve causes a problem. I did not understand 100% the problem but think it was that the See Doo will start on shore but not in the water when the rotary valve is skratched.
The question is this:
Will my starting problem when the see doo is in water most probbably be solved if i buy a restored one?, or put it in a grinding machine (lathe)? I live in Norway so it will be a lot of hazle if i have to send my old one to get a new replacement from the US.
Hope to hear from an expert :-)
