Oil pump alignment pics

    For some Yamaha pumps with two marks, you align to the left hand mark, looking at the front of the pump:

          And what should I expect to pay a marina mechanic to make this adjustment and/or to rebuild carbs?

            Mikuni makes these oil pumps for several models and brands of watercraft, they all look similiar when it comes to aligning the marks.

            I would charge you about $200.00 to rebuild your carbs and about 30 minutes labor ( the minimum at my shop) to adjust your oil pump.

              i made 2 pics from the oilpump settings, because the current pic's don't work.


              is this the correct position with the engine running idle?

                    Try a refresh, they were messed up for a couple days but have been fixed for a while now.

                        My oil pump has three marks on the pump lever a line followed by a dot then another line? What marks to i line up with the body? 1998 xl1200 yamaha 65u engine. Thanks for any help
