Rooster Tail?

A while back there was a discussion on here about purchasing the Yamaha parts to make a Seadoo rooster tail.

I believe Bill was quite descriptive about what parts were needed and how to do this.

Any help since I cannot find that message thread? I own a 97 GTX.

Is it actually as good as Yamaha's when you are through?

I was considering this for safety reasons.

The parts are from a 1994 or earlier Yamaha, and they mount in the steering nozzle. These items will fit in the steering nozzle of any PWC. I was the one who posted the part numbers, and they do work. I also do not like the rooster shooters, but, to each his own!
