  • Help!!! wierd substance coming from drain plugs

I have a new 2001 GTX-RFI. I have about 5 hours logged in it and about a tank and a half of gas or so. Last week I went out riding and I was riding a bit harder on my machine. Anyway when I took it out of the water after about an hour of riding and undid the drain plugs I noticed some very light milky green stuff coming out of both drain plugs. It wasnt engine oil, it seemed thicker than oil, but it was oil based because it did not disolve in the water. It was almost like a creamy gel. It was very light green colored. Does anyone know what this stuff is? And what would cause that?

That is what oil looks like when it gets mixed up with water. You may have overfilled or tipped your oil tank, or may have a leak in one of your oil lines.
