  • "grey "claylike" substance in fuel bowl

I have a 99 xpl that had the grey fuel lines, but they weren't the 8710's. I alleggedly had new lines put on it. The new ones are grey too, (from a sea-doo dealer), but I'm still getting the grey stuff in the bottom of my fuel bowl. I'm thinking that one of the lines, the hard to replace one, didn't really get replaced. I removed the hose, and stuck a screwdriver down in it and didn't get any gunk. Any suggestions? Would another external gas filter be a good idea, at least until I figure out where all the trash is coming from? Thanks, Clifton
