I had bought a 2003 GTX 4-Tec Supercharged and posted a previous message that I thought I lost power because I am running between 7250-7400 RPM's varies up and down. But I just found out the owner before me put in a Skat Trak prop and the mechanic I spoke with said that the prop is probably to get a quick out of the hole take off. compared to top end speed. he said the prop could be why my RPMS are running a bit lower then what a Stock ski would do. Does this sound right? I mean the ski does fly out of the water on take off. Just want to find out if the range of RPMS are fine and if a Skat Trak prop would effect the RPMS compared to stock prop. I had several people "mechanics" take it out and they thought it performed good. Anyway any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
