  • Internal gasket kit

I just got my internal gasket kit Sea Doo 951 98+ # 42-109 for 2000 RX with 951.
In addition to a head and a base gasket and eight o-rings that I needed to do a top-end, it has a four o-rings bigger size, plus some other things.
    1. Could you tell me what are those extra things that are included in that kit.
    2. Eight o-rings. Where exactly should I put them? Below head gasket? Just push them over the stud ? How deep?
    3. Can I use a copper gasket treatment on a head and base gaskets? The head gasket looks like two gasket connected together. Should I spray it in between?
    Thank you.

if the head gasket is new , you do not need copper film , it wont hurt but you dont need it , none inbetween the gasket . the 8 Orings should sit just below the cyl , if you have a compleat kit you will have the mag cover Oring . some parts in a compleat rebuild kit are used on the crank if you need to rebuild that also , most do not use them as they cant rebuild the crank .

The 'other things' are probably your new crank seals.

        OK, Thank you.
So, 8 o-rings going just below the cyl - your mean below the base gasket?

below the head in the cyl , just so you dont pinch one between the gasket .
