  • Rotary Valve Cover

I am in the process of replacing my 720 motor with an SBT motor. It seems when the rod let go of the crank, a few bearing parts chewed up my timing cover and valve. I need to machine .010 to .015 off the surface to clean it up. I need to know if I have to take the same amount off the depth of the o-ring groove and also the mounting surface.

    Hi:
You may want to consider purchasing on exchange a remanufactured rotary valve cover for $75. The rotary valve is $35. We have most covers in stock. Call us toll free 877.330.0231, and we can help you locate the necessary numbers.
