  • impeller replacement

my impeller looks pretty dinged up and i want to pull it to get it worked on or replaced. I've never pulled a pump before and dont have the impeller tool either. thinking about letting the dealer do it if the labor is low.

anyone know about how long would it take a shop to change out the impeller?

they are not difficult at all to replace.
bill can probably tell you which one besides the stock one that will give you better performance.
i have a prop removal tool and you are welcome to use it if you pay the postage both ways.

Isn't the tool sometimes included with certain brands of new impellers?

My dealer gave me the tool for free. Of course I was buying a whole "boatload" of other parts too.

I've always received a tool in the box with my Solas impellers.

Yep a 13x18 will do it.
