it will work but i would get new. Do you have two carbs and did you make sure fuel would come out of tank. The only thing you need hooked up to fire off is the two fuel lines the oil bath and electricity. But the rest such as cooling hoses and such need hooked up before running. What kind of ski is it

1ts a 95 spx cc iassume the longest fuel line bgoes to the back carb and the short one goes to the front and then the pulse goes to the fitting on engine if this is correct thats the way i have it could it have anything to do with rotary valve ,brand new or cover not new but good shape?

Have you check plugs to make sure they are getting wet. The first time i started mine it took a lot of turn overs with choke out to get fuel to it . You know when you are close . The rotary valve thing you need to check with tech support. keep trying but these sbt motors usuallt fire right up with fuel and spark

So fuel is running from tank to carbs. But not getting from carbs to the cylinders. Am i right . Have you tried squirting a little premix into the motor to see if it will fire. And can you feel the pulse line pulsing. It seems like you not getting any fuel from carb to motor

Quick way to eliminate fuel problem would be to pour a few drops of fuel down the carbs and try cranking it. If it fire's up then it looks like fuel supply is the problem.

Caution - only use a small amount, have the fuel tap turned off, have a hose handy and do it outside, not in the garage - better safe than sorry.

I would say drop a little fuel in the plug holes but 99 percent of the time it will push fuel thru exhuast before igniting . Can you smell fuel in your hull.

Honestly, I would take it to a local dealer and have them go through it - that's your fastest bet and the best way to make sure you have everything correct.

If you want to continue trying to diagnose things, you need to get a service manaul, there are too many things you are guessing at, and who knows what else is wrong we don't even know about yet.
